Officer Bacic Course - 2000Three officers from the 228th FSB attended the first OBC course in January 2000 at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. They were LT. Robin Katra, Lt. Ciocco, and of course, CPT. Ravee. Here are some of the pictures..... The class picture. Some pictures of the 4th platoon to which we belonged: 1 , 2 , 3. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd platoons in formation. Classes at Blesse hall were long days and here is CPT. Elliot, the Class Advisor. This happens to be one of her rare pics and I had to surprise her for this one. Fun time at the Riverwalk 1 & 2 and a dinner in one of the finest at the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Finally we moved to Camp Bullis and we stayed at the Hilton. Again, the 4th platoon ruled the field: 1 & 2. Among the various highlights was the "pleasant sightseeing" tour through the gas chamber for the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical warfare training. We did make it through in one piece. And then there was the rappel tower. You can see I was a little concerned here as I was not used to the idea of trusting my life to a rope. But then, you can teach some old dogs new tricks. I loved the airtime. Finally, I graduated and was accepted into the Army Medical Corps. Another picture with Vince and Robin who shared the adventure. |
